Ex-Microsoft Exec Barred from Job at Salesforce.com

Miszewski was general manager of worldwide government for Microsoft’s Dynamics CRM team

Microsoft has gotten that injunction forbidding its former employee Matthew Miszewski to work at Salesforce.com in the job he was hired for to stick.

Miszewski was general manager of worldwide government for Microsoft's Dynamics CRM team. Salesforce hired him as senior VP, global public sector, a one-for-one replacement. Miszewski tried to get the Seattle court to buy the same job but only in the US and ultimately offered to limit his engagement to 20 private sector customers in Washington, Oregon and Canada.

The judge said no dice, no cloud marketing jobs with Salesforce public or commercial anywhere in the world until his standard non-compete runs out December 31.

Microsoft professed itself pleased saying, "This is about safeguarding sensitive and confidential business information and upholding employment agreement designed to protect that information."
